2017 Guachoya Exhibit

The opening reception in Lake Village in May was well received and the show was judged by a patron of the art center not present at the reception. The winning pieces were:

 

Merit Award - Randy New for "Natural Edge Bowl"

 

Third Place -  Vicki Murray for "Music of Our Soul II"

 

Second Place - Cherie Clark Hamel for "Not Having It"

 

Best In Show - Melanie Mitchell Tucker for "Closed on Monday"

 

 

After the reception, members enjoyed a delicious meal at the Cowpen and discussed plans for the new DAA year, including the election of officers and board members.
